In about two weeks, my Aunt Marilyn will be headed to Penland for a class. I just checked out a link of the teacher she'll be working with--Aimee Joyaux--and the work is exciting.

I can't wait to hear about her time there. And someday, I too will take a class at Penland.

(If someone can tell me how to link addresses in blogger, please drop me a comment!)

hey beck - I've never posted in blogger but from the format of the comment form it looks like it takes standard html tags. insert tags with pointy brackets (<>), so to put in a link around the word "link" you'd type in "link. Here's a handy reference for html tags:

I'm so glad I found your blog - just picked up the link from zoukou. How lovely to hear you've been having a productive and peaceful August. Go, binding girl! Let me know if you'd like to have lunch sometime.

i'm realizing that blogger just published the link in my comment rather than the html that i wrote out to show you how it's done. lemme try that again:

to make the word "link" into a link, you would first type in pointy left-hand bracket, then the text:

a href=""

then close with pointy right-hand bracket, then type the word "link", and to close the link follow that word with

pointy left-hand bracket
pointy right-hand bracket

ugh. just check out the w3schools site, it'll explain it much better. ;)
