(1) Last visit with the truck. Sobering.
(2) Driver's Side.
(Sorry you need to turn your head...can't figure that out for some reason.)
(3) Close-up of driver's side.
For those of you who do not know yet, Nick was in an accident yesterday. He has a broken upper arm and stitches in the back of his head. Other than some other cuts and bruises, he's really doing well.
The hardest part is that so far he is being told that he needs to be out of work for three months. If you know him, you know this is a joke. When I returned from work today, the house was cleaner, he had power tools, and was at that moment doing dishes. So, we'll see how that goes.
We're a bit in shock, but overall just so relieved that his injuries are not any worse. We went to take the tags off the truck and take a few pictures this morning and just could not believe how bad it looked. I am not sure how he made it out without being pinned or breaking his legs, because the engine took over the driver's side floor. By some miracle, in a fraction of a second, his legs moved and he he left with only bruises on his thigh and heel. We are very lucky.
Thank you to everyone who has sent their thoughts, prayers, love and support. We deeply appreciate it and will continue with updates.
